PolLINATOR GARDEN MAP AT CEDAR RIDGE PRESERVE
As part of our North Texas Master Naturalist training, some of my classmates and I put our energies toward revamping the butterfly and pollinator garden at Cedar Ridge Preserve in Cedar Hill. We weeded the gardens and added native plants that act as larval and nectar hosts to butterflies, moths, bees and birds.
We also developed a map to help visitors identify plants and butterflies they might see at the preserve. This was a joy to design and illustrate.
